Working with Partners on Oil Well Management

A customer may want the oil field service company to work with a partner company on a job. You can use the Partner Portal to coordinate your employees and employees of the partner company.

First, you must set up Siebel Partner Relationship Management.

Then, the dispatcher at the oil field service company can allow the operations manager at the partner company access to view the Service Request record representing the job and the Order record representing the work ticket through the Partner Portal. The operations manager at the partner company can check the status of the job to know when the services of the partner company are needed at the well site and can use this information to schedule partner company employees.

The dispatcher at the oil field service company can also add the appropriate partner field service engineers to the Job and Work Ticket. These partner employees will be able to see the information about the job through the Partner Portal.
