Guidelines for Partitioning an Oracle Database

Siebel Business Applications do not currently support Oracle partitioning. Siebel 6 and Siebel 7 development-to-production migration and version upgrade processes do not recognize partitioning. Therefore, do not propagate existing partitioning definitions to the new environment.
