Understanding the Siebel Email Response Architecture

The Siebel Server and the Siebel Email Response application process incoming emails and handle the replies. Figure 1 provides a high-level overview of a typical email process, which starts when a customer sends an email and ends when Siebel Server components (either Communications Inbound Receiver or Communications Inbound Receiver and Communications Inbound Processor) process the incoming email and send a reply back to the customer.
