Changing Labels in Workbench


Price administrators can change the labels that appear for the fields in Workbench to accommodate their business requirements. For example, if a company uses the term List Price instead of the term Segment Price, price administrators can change the Segment Price field in Workbench to display as List Price. You cannot add new fields to Workbench. You can change only the labels for the existing fields.

This task is a step in Process of Configuring Workbench.

To change labels in Workbench

  1. Navigate to the Administration - Deal Management screen > Workbench Admin view.
  2. Click the Labels view tab.

    If you are initially implementing Siebel Deal Management, no values appear in the Workbench Label column and in the New Label column.

  3. If you are initially implementing Siebel Deal Management, enter the values in the following table in the Workbench Label column and in the New Label column.

    NOTE:  Although the value that you enter in the Workbench Label column displays the New Label column by default, change the value in the New Label column to the value in this table.

  4. For the labels in Workbench that you want to change, change the value in the New Label field.
