Process of Setting Up Siebel Store-and-Forward Messaging on a Siebel Handheld Application

The Siebel Service Handheld application is configured by default to run Siebel Store-and-Forward Messaging.

To set up Siebel Store-and-Forward Messaging on any other Siebel Handheld application, you must perform the following tasks:

• Preconfiguring the Siebel Handheld Application
• Adding Store-and-Forward Messaging Views to the Handheld Application
• Adding Alter Sound User Properties to the Siebel Handheld Application
• Adding the Siebel Store-and-Forward Messaging Toolbar to the Handheld Application
• Adding Application Find to the Handheld Application
• Compiling Changes Made to the Handheld Application
• Updating the User's Responsibilities and Views to Use Store-and-Forward Messaging
• Adding Settings to Enable Store-and-Forward Messaging
• Setting up the Siebel Handheld Application Setup.ini File for Store-and-Forward Messaging
• Installing the Siebel Handheld Application
