Allocating Segments to Offer Treatments


A single campaign can be used to target multiple segments and distribute multiple offer treatments. You can allocate segments, segment trees and internal lists to offer treatments within a single campaign using the Campaign allocation matrix view.

To allocate segments to offer treatments

  1. Navigate to the Campaigns screen.
  2. In the Campaigns list, click the campaign Name.
  3. From the Campaign form, click the Design tab.
  4. In the Design link bar, click Segments/Lists.
  5. In the Segment/Lists list, choose a segment or a list.

    If no segments appear in the list, click Add List or Add Segment to add a predefined segment or list.

  6. Using the Allocation matrix, map each segment and list (on the left) to the treatments (columns). Check the box to indicate which segment or list receives each treatment.

    NOTE:  If you select more than one treatment for the same segment or list, the contacts or prospects are inserted into the campaign history one time for each treatment (multiple entries).

    For example, if Segment A has a Net Count of 100, specify the Allocated number and click the Treatment check box to allocate those people to the segment.
