Security Guide for Siebel eBusiness Applications > Security Adapter Authentication > Setting Up Security Adapter Authentication: A Scenario > Editing Parameters in the Application Configuration FileProvide parameter values, as indicated by the guidelines in Table 12, in the configuration file for the Siebel application you are implementing. For a configuration file on the Siebel Server, some parameters also apply to the AOM and thus to Siebel Web Client: those defined in the [SWE] section. Parameters in sections that directly pertain to security adapters apply, in this context, only to Siebel Dedicated Web Client. These parameters are counterparts to the Name Server parameters listed in Table 9 and Table 11. NOTE: You can use a text editor to make changes to an application configuration file, or you can do so using the LDAP/ADSI Configuration Utility. For more information, see Using the LDAP/ADSI Configuration Utility. For more information about editing an application's configuration file and about the purposes for the parameters, see Siebel Application Configuration File Parameters. For a list of Siebel application configuration files, see Siebel System Administration Guide.
