Configuring Siebel eCollaboration Views
This section describes specific guidelines you must use if you configure the views used with eCollaboration. For specific information about configuring views and applets, see Siebel Tools Reference.
Web Collab All Activities View
The Web Collab All Activities view is the view in which an agent uses Siebel eCollaboration. The Web Collab All Activities view is based on the Action business object and the Action business component.
You can configure the Web Collab All Activities view to display or hide any of the fields in the Action business component. You can also change the fields' locations and display labels.
If you configure the Web Collab All Activities view, follow these specific guidelines:
- If you specify PiggybackScriptTemplate for the communications event response [EventResponse:WebCollabWorkStarted], one and only one of the applets in the view must be based on the CSSSWEFrameCallMe class.
- The default activity list applet in the Web Collab All Activities view is Web Collab User Activity List Applet which is based on the Action business component and the CSSSWEFrameListCallMe class. The records in the list applet are queried by Primary Contact Id and sorted by Created in descending order.
Web Collab Request Form View
The Web Collab Request Form view is the view in which a caller requests a Web collaboration session.
If you configure the Web Collab Request Form view, follow this specific guideline:
- The applet that contains the Submit and Cancel buttons must be based on the CSSSWEFrameCallMe class.
Web Collab Acknowledging View
The Web Collab Acknowledging view contains the thank you message displayed to the caller after the caller submits a request for a collaboration session. If you configure the Web Collab Acknowledging view, follow this specific guideline:
- One and only one of the applets in the view must be based on the CSSSWEFrameCallMe class.
