Viewing the Text of a Siebel eCollaboration Chat

At the end of a Siebel eCollaboration session or when the session is transferred, the text of its Web chat is saved automatically as an attachment to the activity for the session. If a collaboration session is transferred from the original agent to one or more other agents, a separate chat attachment is saved for each agent's segment of the session.

To view the text of a session's chat

  1. Choose View > Site Map > Communications.
  2. From the Show drop-down list, choose My Web Collaboration Activities or All Web Collaboration Activities, if it is available.

    3. The Web Collaboration Activities list appears.

  3. In the Web Collaboration Activities list, select an activity record.
  4. Click the Chat Scripts view-level tab.

    5. The Chat Scripts list appears.

  5. Click the hyperlink for the chat.

    6. A text file containing the chat's text opens in the editor that is associated with the .txt extension.
