Configuring Communications List of Values Types

Several List of Values (LOV) types define what can be selected for certain fields in the Communications Administration screen.

Each of the List of Values types described here must be active in order to use the associated features.

Most of these types, as provided by Siebel Systems, will serve your needs without alteration. However, depending on your implementation, you may need to modify LOV display values to include your custom content in existing administration user interface elements. In particular, if you are implementing a custom communications driver, you must modify values for several List of Values types.

Some of the List of Values types for which you may provide your own values are described in this section. Your deployment may require you to modify additional List of Values types not described here.

To modify List of Values types, you use the Application Administration screen and the List of Values Explorer and List of Values views.
