System Preferences for the Cycle Counting Engine


The Field Service engines have system preferences (Table 100) that determine the behavior of each engine. These system preferences are stored in the table S_SYS_PREF. The BusComp is System Preferences. These are the columns of main interest:

Changing the values of these preferences changes the default behavior of the engine.

NOTE:  To register changes to System Preferences, restart the Field Service server.

Specifies the valid values for the buckets'1 availability code. The values should be from the Bucket Availability Code LOV, and individual values should be LIVs.

Specifies the valid values for the buckets' status code. The values should be from the Bucket Status Code LOV and individual values should be LIVs.

1The new term for bucket is inventory level.

Only the inventory levels (buckets) whose Availability and Status match the values defined by the above two parameters are included in the cycle counting process.
