Associating Contacts with Opportunities


A contact may be a source of revenue for your company. Potential revenue-generating events are called Opportunities. You will want to associate a contact with an existing opportunity to track information about both the opportunity and the contact. For more information, see Creating Opportunities.

To associate a contact with an existing opportunity

  1. Navigate to the Contacts screen.
  2. From the Show drop-down list, select My Contacts.
  3. In the Contacts list, select the contact with which the opportunity will be associated.
  4. From the Show drop-down list, choose Opportunities.
  5. In the Contact Opportunities view, tap the Opportunities list, and then tap the New Record button.
  6. In the Add Opportunities dialog box, select the opportunity to associate with the contact, and then tap OK.
  7. Tap New to enter a new opportunity.
