Generating a Sales Order


This procedure describes how to generate and print a sales order for a service request.

To generate a sales order

  1. Navigate to the Service Reqs screen.
  2. Query for the service request for which you want to generate a sales order.
  3. Select the service request and select Orders from the Show drop-down list.
  4. In the Orders list, tap Create New Order.
  5. In the Service Reqs form, select Sales Order from the Type drop-down list.
  6. Select a date in the Req Ship (Requested Ship Date) field.
  7. In the Order Details list, tap Add Order Line.
  8. Select a product from the Pick Product dialog box.
  9. Complete all fields in the Order Line Details view.
  10. Tap OK.
  11. In the Order Details list, tap Print Order to print the order.
  12. In the Service Reqs form, tap OK.
