Bidding Scenario for Bid Timestamp Option 3

This example uses the same auction as the examples for Options 1 and 2. Here, the items are auctioned using eAuc:BidTimeTieBreakOption 3 (TSO3).

The bidding for this auction is shown in the following tables ordered by first bid, second bid, third bid, and so on. The first part of Table 25 shows the user's bid; the second part of the table shows the result of that bid.

Bid Summary: Sarah's $30 Max Bid for two items is placed with her prior bid's timestamp, which allows her to match Don's $30 bid. However, Sarah wins only one item because Don's bid carries an earlier timestamp. To win both items in the auction, Sarah must enter a Max Bid of more than $30.

Auction Results Summary: At the end of the auction, Don and Sarah win one item each at $30.
