Installing Sales/Use on Windows

The instructions given here assume that the drive with the Taxware installation
CD-ROM is E: and the drive on which Taxware is installed is C:.

To install Sales/Use

  1. Create a C:\Taxware directory.
  2. Run E:\32bitsys\toolInt3\install.exe.

    3. The Welcome screen appears.

  3. Click Next.

    4. The Select Destination Directory screen appears.

  4. Choose C:\Taxware\SalesUse as the installation directory, and then click Next.

    5. The Ready to Install screen appears.

  5. Click Next.

    6. The Program Menu Folder dialog box appears.

  6. Type TAXWARE Applications Sales Tax, and then click OK.

    7. Sales/Use is installed, and the Installation Completed screen appears.

  7. Click Finish to exit the installer.
  8. Copy all the files from E:\32bitsys\salestax\data and E:\32bitsys\verazip\data to C:\Taxware\SalesUse\indata.
  9. Change the permissions of all parameter files (Param*) in C:\Taxware\SalesUse\indata to allow read and write access.
