Installing UTL on Windows

The instructions given here assume that the drive with the Taxware installation
CD-ROM is E: and the drive on which Taxware is installed is C:.

To install UTL

  1. Run E:\WorldTax\utlsetup.exe.

    2. The Welcome screen appears.

  2. Click Next.

    3. The Choose Destination Location screen appears.

  3. Choose C:\Taxware\UTL as the installation directory, and then click Next.

    4. The Backup Replaced Files screen appears.

  4. Select the Yes radio button, and then click Next.

    5. The Select Backup Directory screen appears.

  5. Choose C:\Taxware\UTL\BACKUP as the backup directory, and then click Next.

    6. The Start Installation screen appears.

  6. Click Next.

    7. UTL is installed, and the Installation Complete screen appears.

  7. Click Finish to exit the installer.
