Starting Oracle Distributed Document Capture

The way you start the client application depends on how the Capture administrator configured settings. For example, an administrator may configure the application to launch from another web application by clicking a scan button or link. Follow these steps if provided with a web address.

1. Using Internet Explorer, enter the application's web address in the Address field.

   (For example, enter www.xyz.com\Capture\WebCapture.asp.)

2. If prompted, enter a user name and password to log in.

   Alternately, the administrator may have set you to be automatically logged in.

   The Client Screen is displayed.
