Backing Up Business Intelligence Folders and Files
Before uninstalling or upgrading any Oracle Business Intelligence software, it is recommended that backups of key configuration files be made, and the files moved to a temporary location. The following sections show the locations of the configuration files under all platforms. Windows Operating Systems
The installer automatically backs up the Windows files shown in Table 13. The backup files are saved to OracleBI_HOME\Install_Backup\<installation_date>. (For example, D:\OracleBI\Install_Backup\12.14.2006_15.55.20.)
