Siebel Analytics Scripts for the Standard Shell


The scripts for the standard shell are shown in Table 7.

Script
Purpose
run-ccs.sh
Starts the cluster controller.
Usage: run-ccs.sh { start | stop | forcestop }
run-sa.sh
An automatic tool that calls sa.sh and starts the Siebel Analytics Server.
run-sa.sh stop
Stops the Siebel Analytics Server.
run-saw.sh
An automatic tool that calls saw.sh and starts the Siebel Analytics Web Server.
run-sch.sh
Starts the scheduler.
Usage: run-sch.sh { start | stop -p <password>}
sa.sh
Sets up the environment for manual management. Run this under the current shell (source the script). Under this mode, you can run the Siebel Analytics Server manually.
sa-cli.sh
Sets up the environment for running the Siebel Analytics Client. Run this under the current shell (source the script). If you are managing the server manually, you need to open a separate session to do this.
sa-init.sh
Sets up basic Siebel Analytics Server settings. Run this to keep settings up to date after you make any changes to .reg files. This includes changes to files used by the Siebel Analytics Web (for example, when you change the Web Catalog path).
saw.sh
Sets up the environment for manual management of Siebel Analytics Web. Run this under the current shell (source the script). Under this mode, you can run the Siebel Analytics Web Server manually.
user.sh
Sets up user-specific items such as the database. You do not need to run this script separately. It will be called from sa.sh.
