Process of Installing Siebel Analytics Components On UNIX

This section describes how to install only the Siebel Analytics Server software on UNIX. For instructions to install other Siebel Analytics components under Windows, see Installing Siebel Analytics Software in the Windows Environment.

In UNIX, the default installation directory is /usr/local/SiebelAnalytics. The following steps refer to this location as $INSTALLDIR. (You may need to contact your administrator to create this directory and give you write permission.)
