About Siebel Analytics Installation Types on UNIX

Depending on your licensing, you use a different command to install the Siebel Analytics features.

• If you are installing Siebel Analytics Stand-Alone, use the installer:

  sainstall

  The options for Siebel Analytics Stand-Alone are as follows:

  Everything	See Siebel Analytics Stand-Alone-Everything
  Siebel Analytics Server (including Siebel Analytics Client)	See Siebel Analytics Stand-Alone-Partial Installations
  Siebel Analytics Client only
  Siebel Analytics Web (including Siebel Analytics Client) only
  Siebel Analytics Scheduler only
  Siebel Analytics Cluster Controller only

• If you are installing Siebel Analytics applications, use the installer:

  sainstall-apps

  The options for Siebel Analytics applications are as follows:

  Everything	Siebel Analytics Applications-Everything
  Siebel Analytics Server (including Siebel Analytics Client)	Siebel Analytics Applications-Partial Installations
  Siebel Analytics Client
  Siebel Analytics Web (including Siebel Analytics Client) only

  Siebel Analytics Cluster Controller only
  Siebel Data Warehouse Administration Console Server

  NOTE:  Although the Siebel Analytics repository and Web catalog are portable to UNIX platforms, you must first install and configure the repository file (.rpd file) on a Windows platform using the Siebel Analytics Server Administration Tool, then ftp the repository file to the UNIX platform. The Siebel Analytics Server Administration Tool is currently supported only on the Windows platform.
