To Update Guardian, use the Update Wizard to download new BEA Guardian software and signatures from the BEA Guardian update site, http://guardian.bea.com/update.
There are several different ways to invoke the Update Wizard:
Press Ctrl+Shift+U.
Click the Update button on the Main Toolbar.
Select Software Updates > Guardian Updates from the Help Menu.
The Update Wizard takes you through a sequence of steps to access the Guardian update site, select the available signature and application feature updates, download them, and install them onto your version of Guardian. The following list briefly describes each step. See the Update Wizard description for more details:
Enter your BEA eSupport login username and password to access your eSupport site identifiers.
Select your eSupport site identifier.
Enter your BEA eSupport login username and password again to access the Guardian update site.
