Browsers and Plug-Ins

The following sections provide information about browser and browser plug-in support for ProductName.

Browsers Supported by AquaLogic Service Bus 2.6

AquaLogic Service Bus 2.6 can be accessed through either of the following browsers:

Note: You must disable pop-up blockers when using the AquaLogic Service Bus Console.

Firefox Browser Settings

If a page is not displayed correctly in your Firefox browser (for example, if the display of the left navigation bar occupies an entire window instead of part of a window), you may have to replace the default browser settings, as described in the following procedure:

  1. Go to one of the following directories: MOZILLA_HOME/default/pref or MOZILLA_HOME/greprefs.
  2. Open all.js.
  3. Find browser.cache.check_doc_frequency and change the value to 1.
  4. Save the file.

Java Plug-In Required for Online Help

The documentation for the following is displayed in a browser-based viewer that includes a search function performed by a Java applet:

The search applet requires a Java plug-in. If you do not have this plug-in installed on your system and you want to be able to search this documentation, you must install the plug-in.

 


Firewalls

AquaLogic Service Bus 2.6 supports network devices, such as firewalls, that properly support network protocols and the 7-Layer Network Model.

BEA will perform root cause analysis on interaction problems between AquaLogic Service Bus and network devices, and it will address AquaLogic Service Bus 2.6 product issues as appropriate, but it cannot address network address issues.
