Running the Installation Program in Graphical Mode

The following sections describe how to run the installation program in graphical mode:

 

Running the Installation Program

Start the installation program as described in Starting the Installation Program

The installation program prompts you to enter specific information about your system and configuration. For instructions on responding to the prompts during installation, see the following table:

In this window...
Perform the following action...
Welcome
Click Next to proceed with the installation. You may cancel the installation at any time by clicking Exit.
Select Installation Folder
Specify the BEA Home directory in which to install BEA WebLogic RFID Edge Mobile SDK. Choose to install for "Everyone" or "Just me". Click Next to continue.
See Selecting Directories for Your Installation.
Conform Installation
Click Next to start the installation.
Installing Mobile Applications
During the installation, the installer prompts the user to install the BEA Mobile Tag Read sample application onto the mobile device connected to the Windows system. Click Yes to proceed with mobile device installation.
Mobile Device Progress Dialog
On the mobile device, a progress dialog box is displayed.
Installation Complete
When the installation is complete, an Installation Complete message is displayed. Click Close to exit the installation program.

 

What's Next?
