  1. Identify your current Tuxedo license file (located at $TUXDIR/udataobj/lic.txt):
  2. cd $TUXDIR/udataobj

  3. Make a backup copy of your Tuxedo license file:
  4. cp lic.txt lic.txt.bak

  5. Check and verify the backup copy.
  6. Append the contents of the BEA SALT license file to the Tuxedo license file:
  7. cat /dev/diskette/saltlic.txt >> lic.txt

BEA SALT 1.1 uses rolling patches to maintain product fixes. A rolling patch installation is a complete BEA SALT package containing the most recent software fixes. Rolling patches can be installed as follows:

Rolling Back to A Previous Installation

To roll back a higher-level patched BEA SALT 1.1 installation to a lower one, you must do the following:

  1. Un-install BEA SALT 1.1.
  2. Re-install the lower-level SALT 1.1 rolling patch installation program.
