Setting Up the Programming Environment

To be able to write security code, an application programmer needs:

To obtain access to the required libraries and commands, you must set the TUXCONFIG, TUXDIR, APPDIR, and other environment variables in your environment. For details, see How to Set Your Environment in Administering a BEA Tuxedo Application at Run Time.

The application administrator is responsible for setting the permissions on directories and files. See your administrator to get the permissions you need.
