Overview

On the JDBC Data Source—>Targets—>Clusters tab, you assign the selected data source to clusters in the domain. When you assign a data source to a cluster, servers in the cluster can use the data source for JDBC connectivity.

Data Source objects, along with the Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI), provide access to connection pools for database connectivity.
