Network channels are an optional feature that you can use to configure additional ports with one or more WebLogic Server instances or clusters. Channel overrides (also known as Network Access Points), define optional server-level overrides of the underlying channel configuration used with this server, and can also define a unique listen address for use with the channel settings.
You must create a network channel and assign it to a server before you can fine-tune channel settings. Values of -1 in the table indicate that the Network Access Point uses default values defined in the underlying network channel.
