This tutorial walks you through creating a web application (consisting of a single JSP file) and running it on a server. This tutorial covers the following:
This tutorial should take about fifteen minutes to complete, depending on how much time you spend exploring in the JSP editor.
Before beginning you should install your server. Be sure your server is supported. You do not need to start the server, since we will start the server before we run the application, later in this tutorial. This tutorial assumes that the server is installed locally, although you can also do remote testing and debugging.
