Summary of Integration Options with Siebel EAI

Table 1 provides a summary of the Siebel integration options that can be used in your integration strategy.

In real time, synchronize the data in one system with the data in another system.

Batch Data Replication

At certain times, synchronize the data in one system with the data in another system.

Siebel integration tools include:

  • Enterprise Integration Manager
  • Integration Workflow Process
  • Object Interface

Data Sharing

From System A, access and change data in System B. Do not store the data in System A.

Siebel integration tools include:

  • Virtual Business Component
  • Object Interface

Presentation Layer Integration

From Application A, access screens from Application B.

Siebel integration tools include:

  • ActiveX Controls
  • Object Interface
