About Migrating SSSE Users to Microsoft Exchange Server 2010	Modified topic. After migrating SSSE user records to Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, the user's synchronization status is updated in the S_SD_EXCH_STATE and S_SD_STATE_DATA tables for each domain.
Configuring System Alerts for Email Notification of PIMSI Engine Synchronization Errors	Modified topic. If you configure large error message notifications, then increase the maximum notification size by setting the NOTIFYMSGSIZE parameter to an appropriate value.
Task Reminders and Alarms	Deleted topic. Task reminders set in Microsoft Outlook and alarm flags set in Siebel CRM are not synchronized.

About Migrating SSSE Users to Microsoft Exchange Server 2010	New topic. If you upgrade an SSSE environment to use Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, during the initial synchronization cycle, SSSE migrates previously synchronized user records so that they are compatible with Exchange Server 2010.
Configuring Exchange Service Account Access Permissions Using a Script	Modified topic. Added information on using the ssse_exchange2k10_permissions.ps1 script in a Microsoft Exchange 2010 environment to configure user mailbox access for the Exchange service account.

Requirements for Installing SSSE Components in a Cluster Configuration	New topic. It describes the requirements for installing Siebel Server Sync for Microsoft Exchange Server (SSSE) in a cluster configuration.
Modifying Enterprise and Server Component Parameters	Modified topic. To ensure that SSSE parameter settings are consistent across the servers in your Enterprise, set SSSE-related parameters at the Enterprise level rather than at the server component level.
PIMSI Engine Server Component Parameters	Modified topic. If the Generic Siebel Organizer is the only attendee of a meeting, then SSSE deletes the meeting.
Configuring the Exchange Connector DCOM Settings	Modified topic. Register the Siebel Exchange Connector components in the system registry of all computers that run the Exchange Connector applications.
Setting Extract Start Dates for Users	Modified topic. The Extract State Date parameter applies to initial extracts and to subsequent ongoing extract cycles.
Skipping Records That Generate Synchronization Errors	Modified topic. The default value of the Always Save Syncstate parameter is N, which disables the SSSE record-skipping feature during synchronization. NOTE: The recommended setting for the Always Save Syncstate parameter is Y.
Synchronization of Contact Phone Numbers	New topic. It describes how telephone numbers are formatted when SSSE synchronizes contacts between Microsoft Outlook and Siebel Business Applications.
Enabling Embedded Outlook Calendar Visibility	Modified topic. To allow user visibility to the Embedded Outlook Calendar (EOC), there must be a trust relationship between the Active Directory domain in which the EOC user's computer runs and the domain in which the EOC user's Microsoft Exchange Server runs.

Installing Siebel Server for SSSE	Revised topic. To install SSSE, you must select the Custom installation option when you run the Siebel Enterprise Server installer to install the Siebel Server software.
Configuring Exchange Service Account Access Permissions Using a Script	New topic. If you are using Microsoft Exchange 2007, then use the ssse_exchange2k7_permissions.ps1 script to grant access to other users' mailboxes for the Exchange Connector application user.
Configuring the Exchange Connector DCOM Settings	Revised topic. The user account under which the Exchange Connector application runs must be a local administrator on the Exchange Connector computer.
Creating PIMSI Dispatcher User Groups	New topic. You can configure PIMSI Dispatcher to create PIMSI Engine tasks for specific groups of users at a time, rather than for all users.
Configuring Recurring Appointments	New topic. You can configure the number of appointments that are created in Siebel Business Applications for Microsoft Outlook appointments that have an unsupported recurrence pattern by specifying a value for the Max Recurring Instances setting.
Enabling and Disabling Contact Record Matching	New topic. You can enable or disable contact record matching during SSSE synchronization by setting the appropriate value for the IgnoreContactMatching parameter.
Setting the Extract Start Date for Individual Users	Revised topic. The initial extract date for individual users is set on the User Map applet in the current release.
About Setting Calendar and Task Record Synchronization Options	New topic. If you enable the Full Sync synchronization option for the Calendar or Task domains, the Opt-in feature and the Ignore private records feature provide flexibility in determining whether or not Microsoft Outlook calendar and task records are synchronized with Siebel Business Applications.
Skipping Records That Generate Synchronization Errors	New topic. If a record fails to synchronize as a result of a record-level error, then you can configure SSSE so that it either attempts to synchronize the record in subsequent synchronization cycles or it skips the record.
Configuring System Alerts for Email Notification of PIMSI Engine Synchronization Errors	Revised topic. When creating the email template for PIMSI Engine synchronization error notifications, in the MsgBodyn parameter, specify a Siebel domain field identifier in the [Field Identifier] place holder.
Configuring System Alerts for Email Notification of DCOM Exchange Connector Synchronization Errors	New topic. In the current release, you can configure SSSE so that the administrator is notified by email of Exchange Connector synchronization errors. As a result, you must configure system alerts for the Exchange Connector as well as the PIMSI Engine.

Initializing Siebel Outlook Add-In	Revised topic. If you enter an incorrect Siebel password in Microsoft Outlook, then Siebel Outlook Add-In cannot create or update the local cache until you either log in to Siebel Business Applications or change the password in Microsoft Outlook.

Using Fully Qualified Email Addresses	New topic. You can configure the UserMailBoxIDSource Exchange Connector parameter to specify the method used to construct the URL that is used to access a user's Microsoft Exchange mailbox in the WWW Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) calls issued by Siebel Server Sync for Microsoft Exchange Server (SSSE).
About Configuring SSSE for Multiple AD Forest Environments (DCOM Connector) Process of Configuring SSSE for Multiple AD Forests (DCOM Connector)	New topics. You can configure SSSE to run in Microsoft Exchange environments that include more than one Active Directory forest.
Configuring Support for Items Archived in Microsoft Outlook	New topic. You can maintain Siebel records for items that have been archived from Microsoft Outlook by specifying a value for the ArchiveGracePeriod parameter.
Implementing Import-Only Synchronization of Calendar Records	New topic. If you implement the Full Sync synchronization option for the Calendar domain, then you can choose to implement one-way synchronization from Microsoft Exchange to Siebel Business Applications for calendar records.
Configuring Recurring Appointments	New topic. You can configure SSSE to regularly create appointments in Siebel Business Applications for Microsoft Outlook appointments that have a Meeting Repeat frequency that is not supported in Siebel Business Applications.
