Configuring parameters for the driver files allows you to determine email processing behavior for your environment. To provide secure transmission of email data between the Siebel Server and the email servers, it is recommended that you enable SSL or TLS communications for SMTP, IMAP, and POP3 sessions. The following procedure describes how to enable an SSL or TLS connection for the Internet SMTP/POP3 or the SMTP/IMAP Server driver.
