Preventing Object Check In and Check Out

You can lock the project in the server repository to prevent a developer from checking out or checking in a project.

CAUTION:  Modifying an object directly in the server repository for purposes other than preventing check in and check out is not recommended.

To prevent object check in and check out

1. Log in to Siebel Tools, connected to the server repository.
2. Do Step 2.

   Siebel Tools locks the project and all objects that reference this project. Developers cannot check out these locked objects.
