User Registration Initial Process Workflow


This workflow calls other workflows that complete the registration process for a customer. Figure 1 shows this workflow.

NOTE:  If you cannot see all of the detail in this workflow diagram, then you can view this workflow in Siebel Tools to see a clearer image.

A customer calls this workflow by clicking the New User link or the Forgot Password link in the Account Login form that appears when the customer clicks the Login link on the home page of the Siebel eService Web site.

NOTE:  This workflow includes steps that apply to customer registration on Web sites other than the Siebel eService Web site for Siebel Open UI, such as the partner portal Web site. Because this guide documents the functionality for Siebel eService for Siebel Open UI, only the workflow steps that apply to the Siebel eService Web site for Siebel Open UI are included in the workflow description.

Workflow Description. This workflow performs the following actions:

  1. User Registration Process OUI. This step calls the User Registration Process OUI workflow if the customer clicks the New User link in the Account Login form of the Siebel eService Web site. For more information, see User Registration Process OUI Workflow.
  2. Check Declined. This step determines whether the customer's registration is accepted or declined during the registration process. If the customer's registration is accepted, then the workflow terminates.
  3. Forgot Password Process CX. This step calls the User Registration Forgot Password (CX eService) workflow if the customer clicks the Forgot Password link in the Account Login form of the Siebel eService Web site. For more information, see User Registration Forgot Password (CX eService) Workflow.
  4. Navigate to Homepage. This step navigates to the home page of the Siebel eService Web site if the customer's registration is declined during the registration process or if the customer's password assignment is complete.
