G Table Conversion for Sale of Services Withholding

This appendix describes how to run the R8976427 table conversion program.

G.1 Overview

If you used the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software for Brazil prior to the availability of the enhancement that enables you to specify whether to use the invoice date or the payment date when calculating withholding amounts for services sold (Services Withholding by Date enhancement), then you must run a program to move data to a new table.

Before you run the table conversions program, the Service Nota Fiscal Withholding Amounts by Formula table (F76B427) includes data for IRRF, INSS, PIS, COFINS, and CSLL. Before you can use the Services Withholding by Date enhancement, you must move existing PIS, COFINS, and CSLL data from the F76B427 table to the new Service Nota Fiscal Wh by Formula Installment table (F76B429). The IRRF and INSS data will remain in the F76B427 table after you run the conversion program. After you run the conversion program, the system reads and writes data for IRRF and INSS withholding using the F76B427 table, and reads and writes data for PIS, COFINS, and CSLL withholding using the F76B429 table.

You run the R8976427 program to convert the table. You run the program from Batch Versions. No processing options exist for the R8976427 program.

Important:

The data selection when you run the R8976427 program must include the BRTX (Tax Type - Brazil) field from the F76B427 table, with the value set as equal to 05, 06, and 07. Values 05, 06, and 07 are the codes for PIS, COFINS, and CSLL withholdings.
