To View Sun Blade 8000 Modular System Server Groups

1. Log in to N1 System Manager command-line environment.

   See Accessing the N1 System Manager Through the Command Line in Sun N1 System Manager 1.3 Discovery and Administration Guide.

2. To view Sun Blade 8000 Modular System server groups, use the show group command.

   N1-ok> show group

   A list of all server groups registered in N1 System Manager appears. The browser interface Servers by Group panel is also populated with the list of server groups. Server groups composed of Sun Blade X8400 Server Modules are easily identified by their cmm-chassisID naming convention.

   A chassis server group behaves in the same way as a logical group in N1 System Manager 1.3.    To determine whether Sun Blade X8400 Server Modules have failed, view Sun Blade X8400 Server Modules in the chassis server group as described in the next procedure. Then view Sun Blade X8400 Server Module details as described in To View Sun Blade X8400 Server Module Details.
