Updating the OBP On the SSP

Before you can install Solaris 7 on a domain, you must update the OBP on the SSP by performing the following steps:

Back out PatchID 105848-02 if you installed it during the Solaris 7 Beta-Refresh period.

1. Insert the Sun Computer Systems Supplement CD into the CD-ROM drive.

2. Change to the 105684-03 patch directory on the CD:

   ---

   ssp# cd /cdrom/cdrom0/Patches/105684-03
   

   ---

3. Install the patch:

   ---

   ssp# ./installpatch .
   

   ---

4. Remove the CD:

   ---

   ssp# cd /
   ssp# eject cdrom
   

   ---
