Section Affected: PDA Online Help

When viewing online help, the icon for a missing image appears on various pages.

The missing image icon represents an up arrow icon. When you click on the up arrow icon, you are returned to the top of the HTML page. Even though the up arrow icon is missing, clicking on the missing image icon returns you to the top of the page.

Section Affected: About PDASync Under the Heading Desktop Memo Initialization Procedures

In the About PDASync section of online help, under the heading Desktop Memo Initialization Procedures, Steps 3, 4, and 5 appear to have missing or incomplete information. The HTML document has incorrect formatting information.

In the Getting Started with PDASync section of online help, under the heading The PDASync Application, the last paragraph states, "PDASync supports most Palm Pilot Computing platform handheld devices, including the Palm V, Palm III and Palm Professional Edition."

Section Affected: Getting Started with PDASync Under the Heading Setting the Port

In the Getting Started with PDASync section of online help, under the heading Setting the Port, Step 2 states, "Select the port (A, B or C) to which you connect the PDA." This information is misleading.

Depending on the hardware features of your machine, PDASync may display different ports when listing the available serial ports to which you connect the PDA. On most machines, /dev/term/a and /dev/term/b are displayed.
