The ILOM implementation on the management controller within the switch can communicate the state of and enable remote management of ILOM through the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
An SNMP client is required to interface with the ILOM SNMP agent on the management controller. The SNMP client must have the ILOM MIBs installed. These MIBs are included in the SUN_DCS_648_ADDBLDRC2.tar.gz file, which is part of the ILOM firmware package that you downloaded. See Installing the ILOM Firmware.
