How to Uninstall Components on a Windows Server

  1. Determine which components you want to uninstall.
    • oracle-hmp-agents — Oracle Hardware Management Agents

    • oracle-hmp-libs — Oracle Hardware Management Pack Libraries (mandatory)

    • oracle-hmp-tools — Oracle Hardware Management Pack CLI Tools

  2. Run the following command:
    # msiexec /x \extraction-directory\SOFTWARE\packages\package name(s)

    For example, to remove the hardware agent with SNMP plugins:

    # msiexec /x \extraction-directory\SOFTWARE\packages\oracle-hmp-agents*msi

    The uninstall GUI appears.

  3. To uninstall the packages, click through the uninstall screens .
