How to Request Physical Media Online
This section contains information about the location and designations of thermal sensors in the server. The Sun Server X2-8 has thermal sensors located in four areas of the server: the CMODs, the power supplies, the mid-plane, and the NEMs.
To perform optimally, a continuous internal flow of air through the server to maintain internal temperatures at operating specifications. Do not allow the air inlets and outlets to become blocked. See the following sections for the locations of thermals sensors within each area:
