public interface BatchRelationSink
extends RelationSink

Interface to be implemented by beans that want to receive a batch of events modeling a OCEP stream. A OCEP stream are append-only, that is, events are always added to the end of the stream. OCEP streams are unbounded, and hence generally need a window to be defined before it can be processed. Events received from a OCEP stream have non-decreasing time-stamps.

Method Detail

onEvents

public void onEvents(java.util.Collection insertEvents,
                     java.util.Collection deleteEvents,
                     java.util.Collection updateEvents)
              throws EventRejectedException
Call-back method for receiving a batch of events. If there is no event of a particular kind, then the corresponding collection will be an empty collection
Parameters:
insertEvents - a collection of insert events
deleteEvents - a collection of delete events
updateEvents - a collection of update events
Throws:
EventRejectedException - - user may raise this exception to notify framework that event is rejected.
