An Oracle stored procedure does not return a ResultSet
by default. You must define a stored procedure in a specific way in order to make it return a ResultSet
. (For specific information on defining a stored procedure, see Returning a JDBC result set from an Oracle stored procedure at http://www.enterprisedt.com/publications/oracle/result_set.html.) The stored procedure call must be set up with the function
syntax,. For example:
{ ? = call myOracleProcedure (?, ?) }
Note the leading “? =
“, which indicates that a value is returned. You might consider wrapping existing stored procedures with procedures that can format the results in a manner that the ATG SQL repository requires.
