Chapter 23

Migrating Oracle Solaris Systems and Migrating Non-Global Zones (Tasks)

This chapter describes how to migrate an Oracle Solaris 11 system into a non-global zone on a target Oracle Solaris 11 machine. The chapter also describes how to migrate any existing solaris zones on the source system to a new target system before the source Oracle Solaris 11 system is migrated.

This information also applies to migrating solaris10 branded zones. For information about solaris10 branded zones, see Part III, Oracle Solaris 10 Zones.
