The new Warehouse Component Deployment Assistant (WCA) streamlines the post-installation setup for Oracle BI Applications by automating the configuration of many components. For more information about using WCA, see Section 3.1.1, "High-level Tasks for Setting Up Oracle BI Applications".

The following updates were made to Oracle BI Applications Configuration Manager, as follows:
On the Overview page, the Alerts pane only displays data relating to enabled Offerings.
On the Edit Domain Member Mappings dialog, the new Sync To Source option enables you to automatically synchronize target domains with source domain values.
On the Edit Domain Member Mappings dialog, you can now use the new Batch Edit option to update multiple target domain members at the same time.
On the Manage Data Load Parameters page, the functionality relating to Global Parameters and Application Specific Parameters has been improved. For example, table column names and values have been made more intuitive, and the Edit All option enables you to update all Fact Groups and Dimension Groups that are associated with a Data Load Parameter.

Functional Configuration is performed in a Task-based guided format using Oracle BI Applications Configuration Manager and Oracle Functional Setup Manager (FSM). For each Offering that you are deploying, Oracle Functional Setup Manager provides a list of tasks that must be performed to configure that Offering. For more information, see Chapter 5, "Performing Functional Configuration".
Maintenance and Administration of Functional Configuration Data is performed using Oracle BI Applications Configuration Manager. For more information, see Chapter 6, "Administering and Maintaining Functional Configuration Data".
