This document is the API reference for the Oracle Access Manager Access SDK.
The com.oblix.access package provides authentication and authorization API for compatibility with the OAM 10g JNI Access SDK API. This API can be used with either the OAM 10gR3 (10.1.4.3) or OAM 11gR1 (11.1.1.5+) version of the OAM Server. It allows programs developed using the OAM 10g JNI ASDK to work with little or no modification with this OAM Access SDK package. However, the com.oblix.access package and classes are now deprecated. Oracle strongly recommends migration to oracle.security.am.asdk classes and interfaces.
The oracle.security.am.asdk package provides a new authentication and authorization API. In addition to functionality covered by the com.oblix.access package, it also provides enhancements to take advantage of OAM 11g Server functionality. This OAM 11g version of the OAM Access SDK API can be used with either OAM 10gR3 (10.1.4.3) or OAM 11gR1 (11.1.1.5+) version of the Server.
