If you enable IPsec on a Sun Ray Client, the standard Sun Ray Software performance may be impacted due to the increased processing requirements for IPsec on both the server and the client. The performance impact can be due to a number of factors, including server hardware, encryption acceleration on the server hardware, the choice of Sun Ray Clients, and user activity. Multimedia performance issues are typically impacted, which includes playing Adobe Flash content or playing videos through Windows Media Player.
