You install a kernel zone by using the zoneadm install command. All zones must be configured before installation. For more information, see Chapter 2, Non-Global Zone Configuration Overview, in Introduction to Oracle Solaris Zones .
You can install a kernel zone through one of the following methods:
A kernel zone direct installation. See Installing a Kernel Zone by Using Direct Installation.
An Automated Installation (AI) manifest or an Oracle Solaris system configuration (sysconfig) profile. See Using AI Manifests and sysconfig Profiles in Kernel Zone Installations
Oracle Solaris media. See Installing a Kernel Zone from Installation Media
