Starting and Stopping the Automounter
As an administrator, use the svcadm command to enable and disable the autofs daemon.

To enable the autofs daemon:
$ svcadm enable system/filesystem/autofs

To disable the autofs daemon:
$ svcadm disable system/filesystem/autofs
