About FTP Servers in Oracle Solaris 11 Release
The old FTP server based on the wu-ftpd distribution has been
replaced by the proftpd server. The migration of
configuration information from the old service to the new is described
in /usr/share/doc/proftpd/proftpd_migration.txt.
